Registration and Settings data
When you register you provide us with a username of your choice and your email address so we can identify and contact you. From your settings with Snupps, you may place certain optional personal information into your account settings. This may include your name, profile photo, password, date of birth, gender, postal code, country, and the email address you used to register. We need your email address so that we can remember you and contact you if needed, but you can always remove or change your Personal Information from your Settings.
You also may grant us permission to access your information from your Facebook account, which allows us to obtain information from these account. What we capture will depend on what you agree to when connecting via your Social Login, but it may include access to your Profile Overview, Email Address, Connections, and Location. We will need a valid email address to remember or contact you, but you can always remove or change your Personal Information from your Settings.
What are cookies? Snupps uses non-personally identifiable means, which include “cookies”, to collect and store usage data, which allow us to make our Services work more efficiently, and enables us to recognize you when you return. A cookie is a small text file that resides on your computer, mobile phone, or other device, and allows us or our business partners to recognise your device when you return to the Service.
What types of cookies do we use? We use persistent and session cookies. A persistent cookie is set once you’ve logged in to your Snupps account. The next time you visit our Website using the same device, the persistent cookie will enable us to recognize you as an existing user, so you may not need to log in before using our services. A session cookie is used to identify a particular visit to the Snupps website. A session cookie expires a short time after you use our Website, or when you close your web browser.
Do we use third party cookies? We use third-party cookies to support the management of basic marketing and operational services such as sending emails to users, analysing aggregate Web user behaviour, and managing multiple landing pages. We use Mailchimp to send you emails. We will provide you options to unsubscribe to our email communication within the emails we send you.
Login & usage data
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with our Website or Applications. Snupps automatically captures and records information from your browser which includes IP addresses, referral information, page requests, page activities, and the type of device you are using.
We capture data on the geographic area where you use your mobile device or computer (as indicated by an IP address). We do this in order to help us support our Service and localize your experience.

How we share the information we collect
To personalise your experience, and to help us improve our Services, we may share some information we have collected about you with Third-Party service providers, such as AppSee, Zoho, Yesaware, MailChimp, that we are currently under agreement with to help us deliver our Services. Information may include details such as email addresses, account usernames, settings information and technical data. However, we take precautions to prohibit Third-Party service providers from attempting to identify you by using the information we provide, and we review the terms of these vendors to ensure that all user data is securely handled and that any personal data we provide is strictly used for the purposes of delivering and improving upon our Services.
When you use or connect to our website or download our mobile app by or through a third party platform, such as Facebook or other social networking site, you allow us to access certain information from your third party platform account (such as your Facebook account) or via any cookies placed on your device by such third party platform as permitted by the terms of the agreement and your privacy settings with the third party platform. We will share such information with the third party platform for their use as permitted through the terms of the agreement and your privacy settings with your third party platform account.
We may share your personal data and information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is: a) authorized by law or necessary to comply with a legal process or to deliver the product or service you require; b) in response to legal claims; c) required to protect and defend the rights, property or legitimate interests of Snupps; d) necessary to protect personal safety, property or other rights of Snupps and its users or employees; or e) an integral part of a sale of all or part of our business. If legally compelled to disclose your information to a third party, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify you in advance of a disclosure unless legally prohibited.
How you can manage or limit the data you provide us
Please note that any data that you voluntarily add to your Public Shelves or in other Public Shelves on our Service can be accessed and viewed by any other user. You have the ability to designate Content as public or private, and you can always change such designation. We will not make any private Content available to others. That said, we provide a number of simple ways in which you can further manage the type of data you provide us.
You can change or delete all personal information in your profile settings at any time.
You can manage who can see your public shelves, followers and whom you follow by protecting your profile in your account settings. By turning this feature on, other users will have to send you a request in order to see your public shelves and social information. This allows you to socialize within a community you trust.
You can link or de-link your Snupps account from your Social Login (Facebook). For some services, you can also choose whether or not to publish your Snupps activity to that service.
You can keep all your shelves private which shall mean that your items are only visible to you. Unless through your settings you choose to, we will not reveal your personally identifiable information to third parties.
You can close your account at any time. When you close your account, we will delete it and remove items and shelves from Snupps. We may retain archived copies of your information for a commercially reasonable period after closing your account for legitimate business purposes. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we will not disclose personally identifiable information about you to third parties.

While we will strive to accommodate your requests, we may reject requests which risk the privacy of others, are unreasonable or repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (such as developing new systems or fundamentally changing an existing business practice), or would be extremely impractical. Where we can provide information access and correction, we will do so for free, except where it would require a disproportionate effort. We aim to maintain our Services in a manner that protects information from accidental or malicious destruction. Because of these reasons, after information is deleted from our Services, we may not immediately be able to remove residual copies from our active servers and may not delete information from our backup systems.

Our Website and Applications may contain links to other websites. If you choose to click to another third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s website. We do not exercise control over third party websites. These other websites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you. Accessing your personal information
You will always have the opportunity to review, modify or remove personal information we store on you by going to your Settings after you log onto your account using an email address or username and password listed that is associated with your account. Please note that we will need to retain some basic personal information about you in order to operate our services.

We take the privacy and security of your personal information and data very seriously, and we have implemented data management policies and procedures, including technical measures, that are designed to help safeguard it. As a user you also play an important role in ensuring your security. Your password to access our Website or our mobile applications, which you select at registration, should never be shared with anyone and should be changed frequently.
Minors and Children under the age 13
We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). Our Website and Applications are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our files.
