    • What is Snupps?

      Snupps is a social media app that is also available on the web. It helps you keep track of what you own on virtual ‘shelves’, share your stuff and get feedback from others. It is available for free on Apple and Android devices. With Snupps, you can organize your collections, keepsakes and gadgets all in one place and meet people with similar interests. Showcase your collections on virtual shelves and check out others’ stuff: follow, comment and ‘wow’ items or shelves that you like, and others will do the same for you! And you can even rate your own items using star-ratings. Find out what’s trending and discover new things both on your news feed and within your chosen Interest pages.

    • What can you do on the app?

      Features include: Interest groups in ‘Explore’, where you can be part of the Snupps community by making items you like trend when you ‘wow’ and comment on them; private message, for if you like someone’s stuff and want to get in contact; drag and drop, an interactive interface that makes organizing your items within your shelves incredibly easy.

    • How do I register?

      Simply download the iOS or Android app from the App Store or Play store, then create an account via Facebook or email.

    • How do I get started?

      1. Explore the app: Before you start uploading items, it’s a good idea to have a look around the app. Head the ‘Explore’ tab and select the ‘Interests’ you want to join to discover how others are using Snupps

      2. Upload your items: You can add an item by tapping the orange plus icon (+) or the “Add item” button. Then just take or upload a picture, add details, place on a ‘shelf’, add to an ‘Interest’ and hit “Save”. You can add up to 12 images for each item, such as different angles, receipts, etc.

      3. Make Your Shelf Public or Private: Shelves are ‘Private’ by default, meaning that only you can see them. Others can only see, “wow” and “comment” on your stuff if it’s on a ‘Public’ shelf. To make a shelf ‘Public,’ click the ‘Edit’ button in the top right hand corner and change the shelf from ‘Private’ to ‘Public.’ Additionally, you can make your accounted ‘Protected’, which means that people have to request to follow your shelves or account.

    • What kind of stuff can I add to Snupps?

      You can add anything you own and love to Snupps! Active communities on Snupps include: Women’s Style, Men’s Style, Beauty, Nails, Women’s Shoes, Sneakers, Food, Bags, Jewelry, Hats, Figures, Watches, Games, Comics, Books, Sports Memorabilia, Art, Crafts, Collectibles, Toys and Movies.

    • What is a Moment?

      Moments allows you to bring out the memories and experiences associated with your stuff, by letting you tag your followers and items on Snupps to a photo. A Moment consists of an image, its tags and a caption. This can be made either private (for your eyes only - e.g. making sure you know exactly what's in your suitcase before going on a trip), or public with the ability to share it on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

    • Why can’t I add a ‘Moment’?

      It is not possible to create a moment on Snupps until you have added three or more items to your account. Moments are designed so you can show people how you are using items on your shelves in everyday life, you therefore need to add items to your account first so that you can tag them within a ‘Moment’.

    • Can I add more than one item at once?

      Absolutely! Select “Add item” and take pictures of things you’d like to add to your shelves (you can also choose images from your gallery) and press “→”. Each picture will be treated as an individual item.

    • Can I add multiple images of one item?

      Yes, you can! Snupps allows you to add up to 12 pictures of one item.

    • What can I do to get my stuff seen?

      Once you have added an item, make sure to add it to a relevant Interest group. By doing this, you will ensure that your post gets seen as it will appear on the ‘Recent’ tab in that group. The more comments and ‘wows’ your post receives, the more visible your images will be.

    • What happens when I ‘wow’ or comment on an item?

      Every time you wow, follow or comment on content, you move it up the rankings in the Interest group and make it more visible to others.

    • How do I control what notifications I receive?

      You can manage which notifications you receive in “Account Settings” in the main “Settings” menu.

    • What happens if I have forgotten my password?

      No worries, this happens to the best of us sometimes. The reset password button is just below the username and password field on the login screen. Once selected it will send a reset password link to your email account, follow these instructions and it will ask you to create a new password.

    • Is Snupps available in different languages?

      Unfortunately Snupps is only available in English at the moment. One day we hope to expand into other languages and will announce it as soon as we do!

    • What are Interest groups?

      On Snupps we have 22 different Interests groups, ranging from food to sports memorabilia and almost everything in between. The idea is that by selecting an ‘Interest’ category we can help personalise your Snupps experience, showing you content and collections relevant to you.

    • Do I need to join an Interest group?

      No, you do not! It is totally up to you which Interest you join, if any. The advantage of joining an Interest is that it allows you to share your shelves to that interest category. By sharing your content with an Interest group you will increase the amount of people seeing and interacting with your collections.

    • How do I leave an Interest group?

      To leave an Interest group, first head to explore then select the Interest group you no longer wish to follow. At the top of the screen is a button labeled “More...”, select this, scroll down slightly and click “Leave Interest”. Just remember, by joining interest groups you increase your chance of getting noticed by others.

    • How do I edit my shelf?

      Editing your shelf is very easy. Go to your profile and select a shelf you would like to change. Click “Edit” in the top right corner. You are able to change the shelf’s name, rearrange your items, join an interest group or make your shelf private.

    • How do I send someone a message?

      You can send someone a private message in one of two ways; The first option is to go to your “Activity” page where you can create a new message. The second is to go to the profile of the person you would like to message and click on a message icon at the top of the screen.

    • What do I do if someone has reposted my content without my consent?

      Please contact customer support, by emailing Support@Snupps.com From here we will contact the accused on your behalf. In accordance with Article 14(1)(b) of the Electronic Commerce Directive of the European Union, we have to notify the user responsible for uploading the image in question of your claim of copyright infringement. If the user does not contest your claim, we will remove the content within 48 hours.

    • Is it possible for me to change my username?

      I am afraid that at this time it is not possible to change your username once your account has been created, this will hopefully change in due time.

    • How do I close my account?

      To delete your account, go to “Account Settings”, scroll to the bottom on the page and choose “Delete My Account”.

    • How do I control my privacy?

      Your items are only visible to other people if they have been put on a ‘Public’ shelf. If you set your profile to be ‘Public’ in your settings, everyone can see these shelves. But if you set your profile as ‘Protected’,’ then only those you allow to follow you will see them. Also, when you add extra photos to the same item, you can choose to make only some of these photos private even if the item itself is public. That way, you can add photos of receipts and other documents to otherwise public items and still keep them private.

    • How do I make my account protected?

      It is possible for you to make your your account ‘Protected’, which means that people have to request to follow your shelves or account. To do this head to ‘Me’ on the toolbar, select settings icon (top right hand corner, it looks like a bolt) > Privacy and then Switch on ‘Protect my Profile’.

    • How do I report an item/ message or user?

      It is possible to report an item, message or user profile. To report a user profile, go to the profile you wish to report, click on the sharing icon in the top right hand side of the page, a field will then come up asking you ‘why you are reporting this user’ please give as much information as possible. To report an image it is very similar, go to the image you wish to report select the share button and then ‘Report’. To report a private message go to the message, select details in the top right hand corner and then click ‘Report this’, again please give us as much information as possible.

    • How do I to block someone on Snupps?

      You can block a user from private messaging you by selecting ‘details’ in the top right hand side of the message box, click ‘Block (username)’ and that person will no longer be able to contact you.

    • Do I own my data on Snupps?

      Yes, you own all the rights to your data. We have limited rights to manage your data through our applications to deliver you our service.

    • Do you share details on the items and information I add to Snupps?

      We do not share your personal data on Snupps to parties outside of our applications and servers, unless it is a specific vendor entrusted by us to deliver you our service.

    • What happens to my data if I delete my account?

      When you close your account, we will delete all your data from Snupps. We may retain archived copies of your information for a commercially reasonable period after closing your account for legitimate business purposes. In accordance with applicable laws and regulations, we will not disclose personally identifiable information to third parties.

    • Does Snupps have restrictions on content?

      We do not allow content that can be deemed offensive, sexually inappropriate or promoting self-harm on Snupps. You can find more information on this in our terms of use. We reserve the right to remove content from Snupps.

    • Is there a minimum age to use Snupps?

      Our website and applications are not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete this information from our files.
